My Fame

It seems that everywhere I go, people recognize me and want to take a picture with me.

Remember...The Alamo

These Muggles have a saying: Remember...the Alamo. I went to this Alamo and learned all about what occurred there and what I must now remember, as they say.

After the Alamo, the next stop was an amusement park called Six Flags. However, I was told that I could not be admitted.

I assumed it was because I was not wearing proper footwear, so I remedied the issue.

Unfortunately this was apparently not the issue, and I was once again asked to leave. Instead I watched from the outside as Muggles made themselves sick on attractions that spun and sped and flipped. This is the form of amusement that Muggles pay for...

Carlsbad Caverns

The next stop on my Muggle journey was a national park called Carlsbad Caverns. I grew tired of the muggles posing next to me in every picture, so I insisted that if I am to be held captive then I will stand alone for pictures.

The caverns were a terrifying place for one of my complexion. So damp...so dangerous. I opted to stay in the car, despite the sweltering summer heat. I was told that they were beautiful, however.

Strange Muggles

The muggle town of Roswell, New Mexico is strange. Strange....indeed.

They appear to worship life from other planets and have dedicated their entire town to this idea. Each structure has a symbol or representation....of an alien.

Even the street lamps have alien faces painted on them.

Very odd.

As I said before, the muggles seemed to worship these alien life forms. They had a museum dedicated to the study and sightings of them.

I was forced to pose for a picture outside of this museum.
How humiliating.

The sooner I got out of Roswell, the better.

Through Utah

As I began my journey, I quickly realized that muggles are a great mystery. For example, in this small town, they built a giant statue of a miner. I am not sure what purpose it could possibly hold as it stands completely still. It mines nothing and the only protection it could possibly provide would be from the sweltering sun. It is pointless to build something so ridiculously large and immovable.

I was less than amused.

For as impractical as these muggles are, they did manage to build some elegant buildings.

Unfortunately the inside of this particular building was off-limits to cardboard wizards, so I stood outside the gate, unamused by my jovial companion.

I quickly tired of trying to understand muggles and spent a great deal of time trying to block out the world around me. I wonder when this "great muggle adventure" will end...

My Story

My name is Severus Snape.

In July of 2013 I was taken and forced into a tiny muggle transportation device and taken across the country.

Since then I have embarked on what I have begun to call...my great muggle adventure.

These muggles have such strange ways of living, and if I must spend my time among them, I feel inclined to document my findings. Perhaps some day I will have freedom once more. But until then, I find myself wondering where this great adventure will take me next...
